Stuart Wilson
Biography
Stuart Wilson is a British actor who studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and worked in theater through the 1960s and 1970s, taking major roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Court and in the West End, and at London's Bush Theatre. His break came in 1972 when he was cast as Johann Strauss II in the ITV costume drama The Strauss Family, after which he appeared in many British television series, among them I, Claudius and The Jewel in the Crown. He later moved to Hollywood, where he was often cast as a villain, in films such as Lethal Weapon 3 (1992), The Age of Innocence (1993), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993), No Escape (1994), Death and the Maiden (1994), The Mask of Zorro (1998) and Enemy of the State (1998). He also appeared in television films including Princess of Thieves (2001), and later in Midsomer Murders and Spooks.
