Richard Devon
Biography
Richard Devon was an American actor known for character parts and voice work, performing from the late 1940s until 1991 in hundreds of stage, radio, television, and film roles. Born in Glendale, California, he worked with horses at an equestrian academy, experience that helped in Westerns. He began in 1950s television, guest starring on Four Star series, Peter Gunn, Colt .45, The Rifleman, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and Perry Mason. He had a regular role on Yancy Derringer as the pickpocket Jody Barker and voiced Batman in radio episodes of The Adventures of Superman. His features included The Undead (1957), War of the Satellites (1958), The Comancheros (1961), The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze (1963), and Battle of Blood Island (1960). He died in 2010.
