Paz de la Huerta

Paz de la Huerta, an American actress who also works as a model and painter, broke into film after starting out as a teenage model. Her earliest screen parts included a small role in The Object of My Affection and a young orphan in The Cider House Rules (1999), followed by Looking for an Echo and A Walk to Remember (2002). Gaspar Noé cast her as the lead in his psychedelic melodrama Enter the Void (2009), and she went on to supporting turns in Choke (2008) and The Limits of Control (2009). On television she played Lucy Danziger, a former Ziegfeld Follies dancer, in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire during 2010 and 2011, and she played Abby Russell, the lead in Nurse 3D (2013). Other credits include The Editor (2014), the documentary My Scientology Movie (2015) and Bare (2015), in which she played Pepper. She has also exhibited her paintings, including a show in Paris in 2024.
