Biography
Johnny Yong Bosch is an American actor who trained in martial arts as a child in Garland, Texas and got his break in 1994 as Adam Park, the second Black Ranger, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He played the character through Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo and appeared in the features Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997), later returning to the role for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (2023). Voice acting became a large part of his career. He debuted as Shotaro Kaneda in Akira, then voiced Vash the Stampede in Trigun, a part he repeated in Trigun: Badlands Rumble (2010), along with Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach, Lelouch in Code Geass and Nero in the Devil May Cry games. He directed his first film, Ark Exitus, in 2020.

Big break
Bosch learned about the Power Rangers audition in Dallas from his martial arts instructor. In 1994, he won the role of Adam Park, the new Black Power Ranger, replacing Walter Emanuel Jones during Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' second season.
Beyond film
Bosch taught himself to play guitar before joining the band Eyeshine, where he handles vocals, songwriting and guitar. He calls his style "Edge Rock," describing it as close to grunge, alt. rock, punk and pop.
