Plot summary

In Vinci, Leonardo, known as Leo, is a boy who loves to invent advanced machines. He lives with his best friend Lorenzo and with Lisa, and he is secretly in love with her. After he tests the first dive suit he has built in a lake, Lisa returns home to learn that a fire has destroyed her family's house and lands. The owner of the lands tells Lisa's father to give all the money he owes as retribution or to marry Lisa to his son. To save her, Leo decides to travel to Florence to gain the money and pay the debt, and Lorenzo goes with him. Lorenzo cannot keep the secret and tells Lisa of Leo's plans, so she joins her friends on the journey to the city.
