Joel Murray
Biography
Joel Murray is an American actor who grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, one of nine siblings and a younger brother to actors Bill, Brian Doyle-Murray and John Murray. He began performing in Chicago improvisational theaters, among them The Second City, before voicing the Cheetos mascot Chester Cheetah from 1986 to 1997. His first film role came in One Crazy Summer (1986), and he went on to appear in Scrooged and Shakes the Clown. On television he was a regular in Grand, Love & War, Dharma & Greg and Still Standing, and played copywriter Freddy Rumsen in 15 episodes of Mad Men. Later film work includes God Bless America (2011), as a man driven to violence, and the voice of Don Carlton in Monsters University (2013). He has also performed with the improv troupe Whose Live Anyway?
