Plot summary
Evan Sanders is an overworked acting sales manager at a soul-killing corporation. His girlfriend Amanda heads HR there and his best friend Tim is a slacker. Tim tells coworkers that Amanda said she loved Evan and that Evan answered no. Evan expects a promotion, but branch president Ted Plunkett hires Max, a college rival, instead. Max takes over Evan's office and turns his attention to Amanda. At the same time the staff changes: employees come in pale, work harder and snap at one another. Evan and Tim begin to believe that Max is a vampire converting the office, while Evan races to finish his presentation for the Phallucite account.
