Hugh Dillon

Hugh Dillon is a Canadian actor, singer, and television producer who grew up in Kingston, Ontario and first became known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Headstones, formed in 1987. His first major screen role came in Bruce McDonald's Dance Me Outside (1995), followed by the lead in Hard Core Logo (1996). He went on to appear in features such as Assault on Precinct 13 (2005), Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning (2004), Down to the Bone (2004), Wind River (2017), The Humanity Bureau (2017) and I Still See You (2018), and earned a Genie nomination for Trailer Park Boys: The Movie. On television he starred as Mike Sweeney in Durham County, drawing a Gemini nomination, and as Sergeant Ed Lane in Flashpoint, a role that brought him a Canadian Screen Award in 2014. He is a co-creator and executive producer of Mayor of Kingstown, where he plays Ian Ferguson.
