Gigi Perreau

Gigi Perreau is an American actress who made her start in films as a child and later turned to television. Born in Los Angeles in 1941, she entered the industry by chance: her mother brought her along to her brother Gerald's audition for Madame Curie (1943), and the two-year-old, who spoke French, was cast as Ève. She played the child of Claude Rains and Bette Davis in Mr. Skeffington (1944) and had the lead in Shadow on the Wall (1950) as a girl who witnesses a murder. Named top child movie actress for 1951, she was given the keys to Pittsburgh. In The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit (1956) she was Fredric March's rebellious daughter, and as her screen career slowed she moved into series including The Donna Reed Show, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke and The Brady Bunch. She later voiced A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures (2010) and received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 1960.
