A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures (2010) on Netflix

Plot summary

On a beach in Baja California in 1959, a seagull dives at Sammy the moment he leaves his egg. The young green sea turtle gets away and reaches the water with Shelly, another hatchling. Sammy falls asleep on a raft, and the waves push it out into open water with him on board. The next morning he meets Ray, a leatherback that also hatched the previous day, and the pair grow up on the drifting raft. In 1969 the raft comes apart, and Sammy, Ray and a crowd of fish are taken in trawl nets and split up. Sammy is tossed back into the sea unconscious, and a dolphin rescues him.
