Biography
Craig Fairbrass is an English actor, producer, and screenwriter whose career spans more than four decades in British and American movies, TV, and video games. Born in Mile End, London, he began with roles in For Queen and Country (1988), London's Burning, Prime Suspect, and Cliffhanger (1993). He played Dan Sullivan on EastEnders from 1999 to 2001, then became a fixture in British independent crime and action movies, including The Bank Job (2008), Far Cry (2008), Villain (2020), and A Violent Man (2022). He co-wrote and starred in London Heist, winning best actor at the 2016 Marbella International Film Festival. His part as Pat Tate in the Rise of the Footsoldier films earned him best actor at the 2018 National Film Awards. Fairbrass has also voiced Gaz and Ghost in Call of Duty games and appears in Netflix's One Piece as Chef Zeff.

Early training
Craig Fairbrass was expelled from Eaglesfield Boys Comprehensive School in Woolwich at 15. After that, he auditioned successfully for the National Youth Theatre.
A change of course
Before acting paid off, Fairbrass supported himself as a roofer by day and a doorman at southeast London nightspots, saving enough to buy a sandwich shop at Woolwich Market.
First role
Craig Fairbrass first appeared in a feature film as D.C. Challoner in For Queen and Country, a 1988 Working Title thriller, playing opposite Denzel Washington.
Beyond film
Fairbrass voiced Simon "Ghost" Riley in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Gaz in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, characters the franchise calls among its most recognizable.
