Plot summary
Pat Tate comes out of prison and goes back to running his nightclubs in Essex. The money is good, but he keeps brooding over the man who got him jailed, and he travels to Marbella looking for Frank Harris. The middle man Terry Fisher then offers him the biggest drug deal of his life. It needs cash carried from Essex to Marbella, and Pat's friends Tony Tucker and Craig Rolfe are given the job. Craig turns the trip into a road journey in a stolen VW van, with the van's German owner coming along, while Tony is set on being back in England in time to walk his friend Nigel Benn out at a boxing match.
