Brad Sullivan
Biography
Brad Sullivan was an American character actor whose career covered film, stage, and television. Born in Chicago, he moved to New York City after touring with a stage company, and he made his Off-Broadway debut with Red Roses for Me in 1961. He first appeared on screen in the military drama Parades in 1972. He became known for playing Cole, a hired killer, in The Sting (1973), and Morris Mo Wanchuk, a vulgar hockey player, in Slap Shot (1977). His later films included mobster George in The Untouchables (1987), Henry Wingo in the film The Prince of Tides (1991), and parts in Tin Men (1987), Funny Farm (1988), and The Dream Team (1989). On Broadway he acted in The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel and Orpheus Descending, and he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Working. His television credits included the miniseries George Washington, the drama Nothing Sacred, and a role on Law & Order.
