Thirteen years after the events of the earlier film, Juliet is at home watching television with her husband Peter. When the doorbell rings, she opens the door to Mark, who speaks to her the way he once did, holding up cue cards. He wants her to make Peter believe that he is collecting for Red Nose Day. The two of them say that they are each happy in their separate lives. David, the Prime Minister, dances in his official residence, and Natalie, once his employee and now his wife, scolds him mildly.
