Plot summary
Rico and Larry are stoners who share a one-room apartment, where they watch an infomercial about a tiny classified ads business. Their landlord Lance locks them out over unpaid rent, and the pair need basic cable to catch a TNT marathon of The Shawshank Redemption. Larry's car will not start. A rehab brochure he picked up gives him the idea that he has reached his bottom, and Rico tags along because the brochure promises cable television. The clinic carries eight channels and no TNT, and the two do not fit in among the hard drug addicts and the counselors. They go to see Big Daddy, a wealthy acquaintance, who mistakes them for two men expected at a sale of antique Indian Head pennies to an aspiring rapper.
