Plot summary
Olive is a Jack Russell Terrier whose owner, Tim, is unhappy that there will not be any Christmas and wishes she behaved like a normal dog. In town on Christmas Eve she buys a counterfeit Rolex from Martini, a penguin con artist who has just lost his job at the city zoo. A radio report says Blitzen cannot fly this year and the rest of the team must cover for him; Olive's pet flea convinces her that the announcer said "Olive, the other reindeer". When the flea mangles Tim's apology, Olive believes he hates her and runs away to save Christmas. A Postman who cannot face the holiday rush vows to foil her, and after Martini helps her escape his attempt to frame her for mail fraud, the two board a bus north.
