Plot summary
Otis is a carefree Holstein bull on a farm in Oedeville, Arizona, where the animals walk, talk and dance once the humans look away. He would rather spend his time with his friends than take on any duty, and Ben, the farm's leader and Otis's adoptive father, disapproves. One evening Otis persuades Ben to stand his night watch so that he can join a barn party and impress Daisy, a pregnant cow who has just arrived with her friend Bessy.
