Plot summary
David Hunter is the assistant manager of a small-town British bank, and he and his wife Penny live in a flat the bank supplies. A porn-store owner's delivery address is confused with the bank's, so packages begin arriving at their door: photographs first, then a film, then two women. David and Penny are shocked, and Brian Runnicles, the bank's head cashier, joins them in trying to get rid of everything before anyone learns about it. Their boss, Mr. Leslie Bromley, must not find out, nor must the local police, and David's mother, Bertha Hunter, is another person they want kept away from what is arriving.
