Plot summary
Martin is a divorced pharmacist in Los Angeles. Gabriella, who is from Spain, works as a physical therapy assistant. Each sets up a date through a dating app, and each date goes badly, so both go back to the app and match with one another. They meet at a bar and talk through the night. In the morning they go to Martin's apartment, and a relationship begins quickly enough that Gabriella moves in. On a visit to Martin's parents, his father says that his mother has dementia, and Gabriella confronts Martin about how much he has kept from her. They argue, and she walks out.
