Plot summary
After Colony 196, one year after the fighting between Earth and the space colonies ended, peace holds and the Gundam pilots are trying to rebuild their lives. Treize Khushrenada is dead, the Organization of the Zodiac has come to an end, and the Earth Sphere Unified Nation and the Preventers have been founded. Seeing no more need for their machines, the pilots send the Gundams into the sun. The peace does not hold. On the newly completed colony L3 X-18999, a rebellion rises under seven-year-old Mariemaia Khushrenada, the illegitimate daughter of Treize. During a diplomatic mission to the colony, Relena Darlian, now Vice Foreign Minister, is taken. Heero Yuy and his fellow pilots begin investigating the uprising.
