Plot summary

The mission given to Naruto Uzumaki, Shikamaru Nara and Sakura Haruno is to carry a lost pet ferret back to its village. Armored soldiers and a knight called Temujin attack them on the road, and the clash sends Naruto and Temujin over a cliff. The two wake inside a traveling caravan belonging to Kahiko and Emina, and the ferret, Nerugui, also survives the fall and grows attached to Temujin. Meanwhile Gaara and the sand ninjas battle the same armored fighters on a beach, where a warship sits offshore. Temujin leads Naruto to a moving cathedral, where a man named Master Haido tells them about the Gelel Stone, a powerful mineral that drives the machine, and about his aim to claim it and bring peace to the world.
