Plot summary

Money troubles have forced Helena Mora to sell Proskurov, the Hamptons house where her theater family of actors, directors and playwrights, along with her interns, has gathered for many summers. The house has hosted an intimate outdoor theatrical performance each year, and before the sale goes through Helena wants one final gathering of the family and their friends, with performances. Oona Hart, a successful and temperamental movie actress, joins them, hoping to leave Hollywood behind for a stage career and wanting her creative peers to take her seriously. Preparing that last show, and finding a place for Oona among them, stirs rivalries and tension in the household.
