Plot summary
On the Greek island of Santorini, an earthquake opens the Luna Temple, built by Alexander the Great to hold his treasures. Lara Croft and her team find a glowing orb marked with a code, but the Lo brothers, Chen and Xien, who lead a Chinese crime syndicate, kill the group and take the orb; Lara escapes with a medallion. MI6 then tells her about Pandora's box, an ancient object said to hold a deadly plague and hidden in the Cradle of Life, reachable only with the orb as a map. Chen Lo intends to sell the orb to Jonathan Reiss, a Nobel Prize-winning scientist who deals in bioweapons. Lara agrees to help if MI6 frees her old flame Terry Sheridan, who knows Chen Lo's operation.
