Plot summary
For wealthy clients who want their money back, Rachel Wild relies on Sid and Bronco, clandestine operatives whose methods stay clear of the law. When her mentor Braxton goes to the Spanish island of billionaire Manny Salazar to settle a billion-dollar obligation, Rachel takes the recovery on herself and negotiates with Spencer Goldstein executive Bobby Sheen. Sid and Bronco work on Salazar from the outside: his construction sites stall, his oil rig is crippled, and listening devices go into the offices of his attorney and the financier holding his fortune. Gucci, driver Moreno and pilot Dunne join the effort, and the team prepares contingency plans because Salazar's police force outnumbers them.

- Lionsgate bought the American rights to In the Grey in October 2023 and set a January 17, 2025 release, but pulled the film in November 2024 when post-production wasn't finished, eventually relinquishing the rights so Black Bear Pictures could distribute it themselves.
- In the Grey filmed under a special interim agreement that let its cast keep working during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, with production running from September to late October 2023 on the island of Tenerife.
- Early production took place in the Real Casino de Tenerife in Plaza de la Candelaria, before moving to San Andres to film at the fishing dock and Las Teresitas beach areas, with some chase scenes through the village.
