Plot summary
In an elevator, Veronique slips her neighbor Sofia a USB drive and says the perfume is Liquid Gold. Sofia is a blind pianist in London whose family was murdered by Serbian paramilitaries. She watches a struggle in Veronique's room end with Veronique falling to her death, tells detective Mills nothing, and keeps the drive. Veronique is the daughter of Zoran Radic, a Serbian philanthropist who was a war criminal of the Bosnian War and is suspected of running criminal organizations. Sofia performs at an event Radic hosts, where she overhears Radic and his associates discussing Veronique's death, and Radic becomes fixated on her. Sofia dodges the detective's questions while Radic's men keep watch over Veronique's apartment.
