Plot summary
Jasper Bloodshy, a wealthy businessman, arrives with his butler Mansfield at the Arizona territory town of Bloodshy. He tells Mayor Ragsdale and Sheriff Denver Kid that he has a second son, Eli, besides the gunslinger Wild Billy, and that a new will names them both. A gust of wind throws him into a gorge. In Philadelphia, Eli is a Salvation Army missionary caring for two orphans, Roxanne and Marcus. A telegram brings word that his father has died, so he sets out for Bloodshy to claim his inheritance. There, Billy is feared as a hot-headed gunslinger, and Ragsdale, who owns the saloon, hires the Snead brothers to keep Eli from reaching town. The outlaws rob Eli's stagecoach, and Eli, Marcus and Roxanne walk on with Jenny Willingham, a teacher who plans to open a school in Bloodshy.
