Plot summary
On leave before returning to active duty in the South Pacific, two soldiers spend three nights at the Hollywood Canteen. Slim Green, the millionth GI, wins a date with a movie star, and the other soldier dances with another movie star. The club founders give talks on its history. The soldiers enjoy musical numbers from Hollywood stars, as well as comedy acts. The canteen offers free food, dancing, and entertainment for servicemen.
