Plot summary
Sean Stover, Ritch Petroski, Wes Harding and Lauren Findley mark their high school graduation by breaking into Saranac Grotto, a forest ringed by a tall fence and posted with No Trespassing signs. Speeding down a dirt road in a Jeep Cherokee, they strike a grizzly bear cub and kill it, sending the Jeep into a tree and cracking the radiator. The four argue about burying the cub, then hear the cub's mother approaching and run. Farther along the road the Cherokee overheats, so Wes and Ritch walk into the forest to find water.

- The mother bear in Grizzly Rage was played by Koda, a 1600 lb male grizzly bear working under a trainer. To get it to appear to roar, the trainer gave it marshmallows to make it smile, and the roaring sounds were dubbed in later.
- The bear is never actually filmed together with any of the actors in Grizzly Rage. For scenes where the bear is supposed to interact with the characters, a man in a bear suit takes over the role.
