Plot summary
Junior is a young gnome who spends his days building gadgets in a laboratory in his tree house. His father, Jalle, is head gnome of the forest and hopes his son will take charge of a forest of his own one day. With the first winter storm coming, Junior joins Jalle to hand out rations to the animals that will hibernate. Face and Slim, troll brothers who bicker constantly, carry out a scheme their father Fassa has devised and take the gnomes' food from the secret chamber. With the stores gone, Junior sets off with Sneaky, a crow whose manner is paranoid and neurotic, toward the troll cave to recover what was stolen.
