Plot summary
Chloe and her mother Catherine move into a house in Tenderville where gnomes stand in the yard. During dinner Chloe finds a hidden room and a green gem, which she turns into a necklace. Removing it opens a portal in the basement and lets loose the Troggs. At her new school Chloe meets Brittany, Tiffany and Chelsea and gives the necklace to Brittany, hoping to join their circle. At home she encounters a Trogg. The garden gnomes then come to life, tie her up and explain that she took the Keystone, the gem that keeps the Troggs from causing havoc in their realm. Zamfeer, their former leader, went into the Trogg world and never returned. The gnomes ask Chloe to hold the Troggs off until the Keystone is back, and she asks her neighbor Liam to help.
