Plot summary
Frank McKlusky was a boy when a 1979 motorcycle stunt left his daredevil father, "Madman" McKlusky, in a coma, and his mother Edith brought him up on her own from then on. She became over-protective, and Frank grew up extremely safety conscious, seldom seen without his helmet, kneepads and pocket protector, still living with his parents. He works as a claims investigator for Conglomerate Insurance, and Jimmy is his partner on the job. When Jimmy is killed, Frank turns to a series of disguises, takes on a new partner, Sharon Webber, and sets out to gather evidence against an insurance scam.
