Plot summary
Roger Bond leads his orchestra at a Miami hotel, with Honey Hale as vocalist and Fred Ayres as his assistant bandleader. Fred warns Roger to take it easy so the band does not get fired. Roger dances with Belinha De Rezende, and her chaperone, Dona Elena, arranges for the band to be dismissed. Roger finds the band an engagement at a hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Belinha has missed her plane, so Roger offers her a ride in his small plane and flies her there; a mechanical problem forces them down on what appears to be a deserted island, where she tells him that she is engaged.
