Enter the Devil (1972) on Netflix

Plot summary

People are going missing in the outskirts of a Texas town, and the disappearances have dried up the business of a lodge there. The sheriff writes the deaths off as accidents and gives his attention to his re-election campaign. A deputy sheriff looks into a run of suspicious deaths in a remote stretch of south west Texas, where a christian cult reportedly lived long ago. An occult researcher makes her own inquiries and puts forward the idea that a cult devoted to devil worship is to blame. Her questions carry her into serious danger, and she cannot tell whom she should trust.
