Plot summary
After a virus turns people into cannibalistic Howlers, New Zealand's government confines the surviving population to camps. Rory, a bereaved mother, stays on a rural holding with Otto, her father-in-law; she has buried her daughter Matty, and grief and suicidal thoughts weigh on her. Howlers roam the countryside and hunt people. Government agents under Logan chase two men who fled a camp carrying a serum that can treat Howlers. One of them, Noah, is wounded and reaches the compound. Otto grudgingly lets Rory tend his wounds, provided he moves on the next morning. Noah says he means to carry the serum to his aunt.

- Richard Roxburgh, who played Rory's father-in-law Otto in Forgive Us All, drew on his own munition and rabbit butchery skills for the part and also served as an executive producer.
