Plot summary
John Hutton is a linguistic scientist who lives with his wife Rachel and their daughter Jordan, and there is a gap in his life that he cannot account for. Eight years ago he arrived with no history behind him and only a recurring dream. Then he meets a man who shares his condition and learns that there are others like them, amnesiacs who possess extraordinary abilities. John convinces his brother-in-law Carl, a private investigator, to help him uncover his true identity. He wants to know who he is before his past can rise up and destroy the family he has now.
