Daniel Craig was set to cameo as Balder the Brave, but declined because he did not believe a single day of filming was worth risking COVID-19 for his family. John Krasinski's footage as Reed Richards was shot during reshoots to replace him.- Saudi Arabia did not release the film because of its inclusion of America Chavez, a gay character, and its cinema classification chief said Disney was "not willing" to cut "barely 12 seconds" of a scene in which Chavez refers to her "two moms".

- With a production budget of $350.6 million, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one of the most expensive films ever made.
