Biography
LeAnn Rimes is an American singer and songwriter who also acts, having begun in musical theater and local music contests before signing with Curb Records in 1996. Her breakthrough came with Blue, a country single that reached the top ten, and the album Blue was certified six times Platinum. She won Grammys in the new artist and female country vocal categories, the youngest recipient of both. The pop hit How Do I Live set a Billboard Hot 100 longevity record, and she contributed songs to the soundtrack of Coyote Ugly (2000). Her acting credits include the television films Holiday in Your Heart (1997), Northern Lights (2009), Reel Love (2011), and It's Christmas, Eve (2018). Later albums include Twisted Angel, This Woman, Family, and Remnants, and her worldwide record sales exceed 48 million.
