Plot summary
Phil Foster is a tax lawyer and Claire Foster is a realtor. They live in New Jersey with two children, and their weekly date nights have settled into a routine. Word that their friends Brad and Haley plan to divorce rather than stay in a dull marriage pushes Phil to plan something different, and he takes Claire to a popular Manhattan restaurant. The place is full and the couple has no reservation, so Phil claims a table reserved for a couple who never arrived, the Tripplehorns. Two men, Collins and Armstrong, approach the table, address Phil and Claire as the Tripplehorns, and want a flash drive they say was stolen from mob boss Joe Miletto. The Fosters try to explain the mistake, but the men do not believe them.
