Plot summary
Louis, a mob superior in Los Angeles, hands his low-level associate Larry Gigli an assignment: abduct Brian, a young man with an intellectual disability whose older sibling works as a federal prosecutor. The prosecutor is to be pressured into helping the New York mob boss Starkman stay out of prison. Larry lures Brian away with a promise to visit the Baywatch, the television series Brian is fixated on. Louis doubts Larry can manage alone and sends Ricki to supervise. Larry is attracted to Ricki, who says she is a lesbian and turns down his advances. Brian loves the Australian accent of an operator he calls in Australia and runs up large phone bills.
