Plot summary
After his brother Sean dies, Dylan Forrester, a former assassin, breaks the terms of his parole to reach Guardian Island, the property his family owns, hoping to make peace with his relatives. Dr. Alderwood oversees the medication that keeps his instincts in check. His mother Linda wants him gone. Agent Shaughnessy believes Dylan is too dangerous and looks for him because he skipped parole. Sheriff McCoy realizes Dylan is wanted by the authorities and jails him. A fixer named Cole then lands with a band of mercenaries, and the island comes under attack. Jo, who works at the hotel, hears the assault and frees Dylan so the two can get away.
