Plot summary
Jake Masters, a private detective, is with his girlfriend Renee when a call brings him a new case. The New York City police are looking for Jason Dominic, an eccentric millionaire, over the death of Lucille Reynolds, a cocktail waitress. Jason asks Jake to track down whoever really killed her. Jake goes to LaGuardia Airport to pick up Jason's bodyguard, Cora Merrill. After a case of mistaken identity, they meet.
