Plot summary
Jack McQuade's crocodile farm in Thailand sits beside a resort owned by the Konsong brothers, who want his land. They already have buildings on it and want the rest, and they send animal welfare officers, bill collectors and tax collectors to the farm hoping to close it. Evelyn Namwong, the welfare investigator sent to inspect it, finds only minor violations and refuses to shut it down, so she is fired. Meanwhile a giant saltwater crocodile has been killing people in the area, and Croc Hawkins has hunted the beast for months. Jack and Evelyn meet Hawkins, and the three join forces to find and kill it.
