Plot summary
In early 19th century England, a zombie outbreak has the Bennet sisters trained in weaponry and martial arts, schooling arranged by their father in Qing Dynasty China. Their mother, Mrs. Bennet, cares most about marrying her five daughters to wealthy men. At a country dance, the newcomers Charles Bingley and his friend Mr. Darcy appear, along with Bingley's snobbish sister Caroline, and Bingley is drawn to Jane. Zombies attack the ball, and the sisters fight them off. Darcy, a skilled zombie killer, takes notice of Elizabeth's fighting skill, though he keeps his manner cold. He also overhears Mrs. Bennet's delight that Jane has caught a rich man.
