Plot summary
Crazy Horse is a young Lakota whose people expect great things from him. When he wins his bride, his rival Little Big Man takes evidence of gold to unscrupulous traders, revealing the metal in a sacred Lakota burial ground. A gold rush starts, and the treaties protecting the Lakota are torn up. Crazy Horse becomes the military leader of his people.
