Plot summary
Warchild is a tough, cold mercenary who serves General Ruechang, the commander who brought him up and trained him for war. Ruechang plans to marry Princess Halo, and that marriage would put the country in his hands. Halo discovers that Ruechang killed her father, the king, to gain more power than he held while serving the crown. She runs away rather than marry him. Ruechang orders Warchild to find the princess and return her to him.
