Plot summary
JC is close to thirty and works as a surf instructor in a Cornish village. He and his girlfriend Chloe live together. He wants to travel the world surfing with her, while she would rather buy the surf-shack café where they both work. Late one night his old friends from London arrive unannounced for a stag weekend, bringing Terry, the sensible groom-to-be they consider boring and in need of livening up. Their visit exposes the strain in JC's relationship, since Chloe suspects he prefers his friends' company to hers. Dean, in particular, wants JC back in his old ways. JC argues with Chloe and with the men.
