Plot summary
Cocktail waitress Frida and her friend Jess work an exclusive gala, where they meet billionaire tech mogul Slater King, and he invites them to his private island. His assistant Stacy takes their phones when they arrive. The other guests include Slater's friends and business partners, along with three women: Sarah, a reality show star; Camilla, an aspiring app developer; and Heather, a lawyer. Each woman is given a lavish room, a gift bag of perfume, strong hallucinogens, and high-end meals and cocktails. Frida argues with Sarah about Slater's intentions, and Jess notices that her memory has gaps. Every worker on the island bears the same snake tattoo. A maid who appears to know Frida calls her Red Rabbit. Frida feels that something sinister lies beneath the island's polished surface.

- Zoë Kravitz's film was called Pussy Island until January 2024, when it was renamed Blink Twice. Kravitz said the Motion Picture Association would not put the title on a poster, billboard or kiosk, and movie theaters would not put it on a ticket.
- Composer Chanda Dancy and director Zoë Kravitz built the score by sending each other recordings of sounds they heard in the wild, drawing on inspirations from gagaku to Igor Stravinsky to Indonesian drumming to the Fantasy Island theme song.
- Amazon issued a trigger warning for Blink Twice for "mature themes and depictions of violence - including sexual violence". Variety noted that a studio doing so was rare, and the warning was attached to theatrical screenings and streaming prints.
