Plot summary
Dylan Collins jolts awake from a dream of a family killed in a cornfield. He and his twin brother Zach live in a farmhouse with their mother, Courtney, who has run from her abusive husband, Clint. Ghostly children appear to Dylan and make him watch films of those children murdering their own families. A former sheriff's deputy, now working as a private investigator, is tracking the killings around Bughuul. He reaches the farmhouse and tells Courtney he came about a murder at the church. When Clint shows up to take the boys, the deputy sends him away and talks Courtney into staying, and she offers him a bed for the night.
