Plot summary
May teaches yoga and runs a yoga school with her boyfriend, Dex. She makes contact with Shiva, a half-sister ten years younger whom she has never met. Their mother, Susan, gave May up for adoption to a wealthy family, while Shiva was raised in a series of foster homes. The two women bond quickly despite their different upbringings. May becomes uncomfortable around Cody, Shiva's boyfriend, and Dex dislikes having Shiva nearby once he hears about her past. May will not walk away from her sister, all the more so when Shiva hands back the thousand dollars May had given her for rent.
