Zosia Mamet

Zosia Mamet is an American actress and musician who was born in Randolph and grew up in a family of writers and performers, the daughter of playwright and director David Mamet and actress Lindsay Crouse. She decided to pursue acting after high school rather than go to college, and in 2012 Judd Apatow cast her in the HBO series Girls, where her role as Shoshanna Shapiro became her breakout. She went on to star as Annie Mouradian in The Flight Attendant and as Pampinea in The Decameron, and appeared as a regular in Laid. Her voice work includes the audiobook The Feral Detective and parts in Regular Show, High School USA!, Star vs. the Forces of Evil and StuGo. She has also made music, forming the folk duo The Cabin Sisters with her half-sister Clara in 2012 and the alternative rock band Chacha in 2014.
